In December 2004 the third largest earthquake ever recorded ruptured a fault line deep in the ocean, releasing the energy of 1,500 of the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima at the end of WWII. Just like tension, friction, and destructive force builds when tectonic plates oppose each other, spiritual tension, friction, and destructive force build when we move in a way that opposes God. Just like with an earthquake, when the tension becomes too much, destructive power is released – in the form of judgment. Pastor Steve elaborates on where we are today as a nation, how it parallels the last days of the kingdom of Judah, and the attitude we must take to prevent – or even survive – judgment.
