Rejection can keep your thoughts, decisions, and identity revolving around someone else’s approval. Leah knew that struggle—but when she declared, “Now I will praise the Lord,” her circumstances hadn’t changed. Her focus had. Praise breaks the hold of what has defined you and puts God back at the center.

You don’t have to wait for the battle to end or the prison doors to open before you worship. Praise God while the pressure is still real, and refuse to let your circumstances take the throne of your heart. What rejected you cannot cancel what God has placed within you. Give Him the middle, and let His presence bring your life into alignment.
