The Slow Death of Sacredness
Sacred things rarely disappear overnight. They fade when familiarity replaces reverence, conviction gives way to convenience, and the extraordinary slowly becomes ordinary. Examine what has quietly lost its weight in your life and refuse to let routine rob you of the awe that belongs to God's presence. The greatest danger isn't openly rejecting what is holy - it's handling holy things so often that you stop recognizing them as holy.
Restore what familiarity has stolen. Honor God's order, value God's people, and remember the price of God's sacrifice with fresh wonder. Before looking at anyone else, allow the Holy Spirit to search your own heart. The fire of God doesn't disappear because His power changes; it fades where the fear of God is forgotten. Recover the sacred before routine turns reverence into ritual.
